Vilniaus Kolegija - Lithuania

Vilniaus kolegija - Higher Education Instituion (VIKO) is the largest accredited higher professional education institution in Lithuania, which was founded in 2000 merging 8 schools of higher education. VIKO is the only higher education institution in Lithuania, which has been awarded the diploma of the Knowledge Economy Forum for Innovations.

VIKO aims at:

• Preparing practice-oriented specialists with a higher education degree in health, natural, humanitarian, social and technological sciences and arts, who meet economic and social needs of Vilnius region and the entire Lithuania;
• Ensuring that study process is modern and in compliance with European standards;
• Reinforcing effective cooperation with representatives from the business world;
• Developing the students’ general abilities and civil values, necessary for their future work and/or continuing education.
