ADVANCE programme piloting

The ADVANCE programme – Post-graduate Diploma in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship – will be widely promoted among various target groups, including undergraduate students, recent graduates, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, community leaders, and unemployed or underemployed youth. Our aim is to focus on female candidates (min. 50% female enrolment) and candidates from rural areas (min. 30% enrolment from rural areas).

The pilot programme will be launched simultaneously across all African partner universities, led by academic staff members trained in the professional development sessions. The programme will be offered in a blended mode, combining face-to-face classes with additional online assignments. Virtual mobility opportunities will encourage students to take online courses at partner universities, with credits recognized by their home institution. Community/ business partners will offer placements and mentorship. EU members will support virtual mobility and host students. ADVANCE programme will be tested during the piloting, allowing for feedback collection on programme effectiveness, usability, and impact.
