Capacity building of mentors

The capacity building workshops for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship mentors are planned to be carried out in each African partner university. These workshops aim to prepare representatives of stakeholder organizations involved in the implementation of the ADVANCE programme to provide effective mentorship to students.

Content:

• ADVANCE mentorship schemes
• Effective mentorship strategies, materials and tools that should help mentors and students to achieve the objective of each scheme included in the curriculum.

Workshop hosts:

• Busitema University, Uganda
• Lira University, Uganda
• Mzumbe University, Tanzania
• Mkwawa University College of Education, Tanzania

Facilitation for Peace and Development, Uganda, and Small Industries Development Organization, Tanzania, will contribute to the workshops as trainers.
