Portfolio of Mentorship Schemes

ADVANCE Mentorship Schemes aim to facilitate the implementation of the service-learning and experiential learning projects in cooperation with external partner organizations. The Portfolio includes five schemes, each describing:

• The objectives (e.g. serve the community or raise entrepreneurial propensity)
• Format (e.g. one-to-one or group; on-the-job or at mentoring cafes; face-to-face or e-mentoring mentorship scheme)
• Duration and frequency of meetings between mentors & mentees
• Requirements to mentors and mentees
• Indicative activities of mentees and kinds of support that mentors should offer
• Assessment of mentees’ competences & evaluation of the scheme’s effectiveness

The mentorship schemes are integrated in the curriculum of the ADVANCE post-graduate diploma programme in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
